Art that tells a story.
Sheena creates paintings, murals, photography, and community art projects that weave together nature, history, and lived experience.
Each piece invites you to slow down, notice the details in the landscape, and listen for the stories that connect people, places, and memory.
At the American Legion in Pineville, Missouri, Sheena researched bald eagles nesting along the nearby Elk River and spoke with community members before creating a mural featuring a life size eagle and an American flag sweeping around the building’s corner. Just around that corner flows the river itself. The mural honors veterans while connecting the American Legion to its surrounding landscape and natural heritage.
These projects demonstrate what distinguishes Sheena’s approach. Before creating something for a community, she researches its surroundings, explores its history, listens to its people, and discovers the details that make the place special. The resulting artwork is more than decoration. It creates opportunities for connection and further discovery.

The Little Church in the Park
The Little Church in the Park Sheena’s commissioned mural, The Little Church in the Park, brought art, architecture, nature, and history together at St. John’s Episcopal Church beside Big Spring Park in Neosho. Inspired by the church’s stained glass and the neighboring spring connected to Neosho’s founding, she created a mural across three panels featuring flowing water, wildlife, flowers, and natural beauty. She invited the congregation to name the completed artwork.

Clay Cup Art Show
The Clay Cup Exhibition At The Clay Cup in historic downtown Neosho, Sheena exhibited 21 original acrylic wildlife paintings, ranging from 8 by 10 inches to a large work measuring 4 by 6 feet. She created researched wildlife information sheets for each piece and displayed photographs documenting her outdoor career. The exhibition also featured her handmade jewelry, generating additional sales alongside her paintings.

I’ll Be Your Huckleberry Spay and Neuter Clinic Mural
I’ll Be Your Huckleberry Spay and Neuter Clinic In May 2024, Sheena and her daughter Arabel brought art and animal care together at I’ll Be Your Huckleberry Spay and Neuter Clinic in Pineville, Missouri. Their painting project extended across 24 rooms, plus the surgery and recovery area, with a beach theme bringing color and character to the space. The clinic’s work serving feral cats and pet owners with limited incomes gave their collaboration a meaningful community connection, combining their creativity with their love for animals.

Rainbow Trout Bubble of the Ozarks
Acrylic paint captures a rainbow trout beneath the water’s surface, framed by rocks, aquatic plants, and an oval border shaped like a bubble. This is found as her business card inspiration, and represents the waters near her actual bubble as well. Its detailed markings stand out against deep blues and greens, reflecting her familiarity with fish and her lifelong connection to the outdoors

Show Time
An elk themed oil painting that gives a sense of story, with the elk standing among the golden woodland, near where the creeks flow, the beautiful creators will roam

She Captain Land Ahead
An acrylic painting in the captain’s quarters where the big decisions are made. This painting was created because she wanted to do a ship on the ocean for a historical period piece with a twist. That’s a rabbit hole that could have happened… Maybe a story for another day
Photography & Visual Storytelling
Through the lens, Sheena captures the quiet details of the natural world — light filtering through leaves, wildlife at rest, and the textures of landscapes that shape the places and communities she explores.
